NYC Gardens

Wednesdays are free at the NYC Botanical Garden, so Elliot and I seized the day and motored into the city for a fun day out. It was quite a trek, and we had to drive through the Bronx amidst a throng of clinically insane drivers to get there, but it was well worth it. It's absolutely gorgeous, and there's so much to see. Elliot was enthralled with everything he saw, so between 20 minutes throwing pennies into the fountain, 15 minutes watching the squirrels play, and half an hour just at the entrance to the children's garden (it had a curtain of ribbons that he could run through - again, and again, and again), there was plenty we didn't get to. We'll definitely be going again!
