No, we haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Just busy busy busy.
Last week Sophie had her blocked tear duct fixed, which required a visit to a hospital operating room and a dose of anesthesia. Rather scary stuff, even though the actual procedure was quite simple.
If you click on this picture, you can see that her eye was all goopy.
We woke up at 4:45am to get there on time. Ugh. Poor Sophie didn't know what was going on. Look - they have little hospital gowns for babies. So cute and yet sad to think there's a need for baby hospital gowns.
There was another little girl waiting in the next bed. She had to have a major operation to loosen all the muscles behind her eyes. It made us realize how very fortunate we are to have two healthy kids.
She did great and has been good as new ever since. Hallelujah!

Yeah for Sophie! She looks just adorable and beautiful in that last picture. And what a perfect little eye she has. We are thankful for the little problems aren't we.
