The weather today was sunny, clear blue skies, and a little bit windy – the perfect day for a picnic and some kite flying!
What a lovely day! If only it had ended that way.
After our little picnic, we went back out for some more kite flying. I was holding Sophie when I felt a sudden, stinging PAIN on my hand!
Over the next several hours, my hand ballooned into a cantaloupe-sized, Frankenstein monstrosity.
An uncomfortable end to an otherwise lovely day!
