Before we get to the candy, I have to share about this most fabulous meal. We decided spur-of-the-moment to go to Warwick Valley Winery for lunch. Little did we know they were having a big festival, and the place was packed. But it was a gloriously sunny day, and we were happy to throw some blankets on the grass, let the kids play, listen to the live music, and have some wine while we waited for the excellent food. Bliss!
Now on to the candy! We love this candy shoppe, and since they specialize in the autumn apple season, we just had to make a stop.
They cover their apples by hand with chocolate, caramel, peanut butter, candy – anything sweet and decadent you can imagine.

And that concludes our time with Russ, Chandelle, Sam, and Dellen. Spending the week with people so dear to us was truly cathartic. We miss them already.
