a tea party and the tooth fairy

I have one more post about our vacation. Just want to share about Sophie’s tea party and Elliot’s big news.

Mom brought Sophie a set of little plates and cups, and she taught Sophie how to be a perfect party hostess.

First, they invited all their guests to the party.

Then they cut up the strawberry shortcake.

Served it up.

And delivered it to each guest.

Then they poured the drinks out of the cute little orange pitcher.

Everyone had a marvelous time, and they all wanted to do it again the next day!

Mom brought other goodies for Elliot and Dellen, who are both at a certain age – the age of loose teeth! She gave them each a tooth tin to put on their pillow for the tooth fairy.

It was impeccable timing. Wouldn’t you know it, on the last day of vacation, Elliot lost his first tooth!

He was so excited!!

Look at that. My baby’s losing his teeth already!!

The tooth fairy did indeed come, and after much deliberation, Elliot chose to spend his loot on a toy gun. He was one happy boy.
