Little chef

Elliot is a big help in the kitchen. Seriously. I never knew 2-year-olds could do anything but pretend to cook in their little play kitchens. But today Elliot sliced an entire punnet of mushrooms all by himself.

I know what you're thinking, but no, I do not let him play with knives. We have a clever little slicer gadget, which I suppose, if he put his fingers in it and pushed really hard, might hurt him. But he's a pretty cautious child, so I feel comfortable letting him do this.

So here he is, our little chef Elliot. (please excuse the pacifier - he'd just woken from his nap and threw a huge fit when I tried to take it from him)
