We celebrated today with a big bbq with the neighbors. A great time had by all!
And last night we headed out to see some fireworks with some other neighbors. They have a little boy born four days before Elliot, and they almost look like twins. And their little girl loves to give Elliot hugs. Elliot absolutely loves playing with them. We brought a picnic and had a grand time waiting for the sun to set.
Elliot had his first cotton candy. (He wasn't impressed.)
They set off a few fireworks early on, I guess to test things out. The first two Elliot was fine with - but then they set off a super loud one, and Elliot nearly jumped out of his skin. He leapt on me and clung like a jellyfish for an entire hour, saying, "Too loud! Too loud!" So we finally gave up and headed home.
Ah well, maybe next year!
