Air show

The last few weeks and months have been lacking in much fun and frivolity - what with Rob's cramming for exams and my irrational obsession with doing things like scrubbing the garage floor - but we did get out a few weeks ago for an airplane show. Our neighbor runs the New Jersey Aviation Museum and organizes this show each year, so he very kindly gave us some free tickets. Elliot, of course, was ecstatic to see all the airplanes.

It was a day every 2-yr-old boy dreams of. First, a bus ride from the parking lot to the show.
Then, lots and lots of airplanes everywhere. We even got to go inside a few military planes.



They also had a bunch of stalls selling all sorts of transport-related things. Elliot was thrilled to get a little fire engine with an extending ladder and a siren. We topped off the excursion with a hot dog lunch. Every little boy's perfect day out, right?
