Rob did lots of bonding with the kids over Father’s Day weekend. First off was the premiere of Toy Story 3. Rob and Elliot went to the first showing on opening day!

This was Elliot’s first ever movie in a cinema. So exciting!

We’d hyped it up for months beforehand and had been watching Toy Story 1 and 2 in anticipation. They both had tons of fun!

For Father’s Day we’d planned a special mini golf outing, but then Sophie decided to cartwheel headfirst down our concrete front steps. It was a horrible sight, and after a call to the doctor for advice, we headed to the ER, where she was observed for several hours.

Praise God, she was absolutely fine. How do kids do that? Are they made of rubber or what?? Needless to say, it wasn’t the Father’s Day we’d planned, but thankfully all was well in the end!
