the drive-in

We have a drive-in movie theater nearby that we’ve been wanting to go to for the past 3 summers. Finally, we went last night with some friends.

It started at 9pm, way after the kids are usually asleep.  The film was Toy Story 3, with good old Buzz, Woody, and friends.

I was sure Sophie, if not Elliot too, would be fast asleep by the end. Nope. They were wide awake and dancing through the end credits.

We all got to bed close to midnight. Which was actually awesome, because I got to sleep in until almost 10am. Woo hoo! I think we may keep the kids up til midnight more often!
