Guess what? It’s snowing. Here and across the entire country, right? Rob attempted to make it to work this morning, but half a block from home he slid into a snow bank, so that was the end of that. So we’re all hunkered down inside. Again.
So let’s bolster our spirits with a little positive thinking. For instance, it’s ONLY 47 days until spring!!
No, no, we’re not going to think, that sounds like FOREVER. Nope. It’s just 47 little tiny days to go. And we’re not going to think, it doesn’t matter if the calendar says it’s spring; sometimes it can even snow in April! Let’s not be negative now. In fact, last year spring arrived right on schedule. These lovelies bloomed precisely on March 24.
On March 25 last year it was so warm that we had a picnic and even played in the sprinkler!
And two years ago it was 91 degrees on April 28! We spent the day at the beach.
So let’s be brave, fellow comrades, in this long, cold winter. The sun will one day shine again!!
