We were so happy that my parents flew out to see us for Thanksgiving. We are pretty fed up with living so far from all our family. It’s the little things that we miss. Just hanging out playing with Polly Pockets.
Kicking around a soccer ball.
Having them around for school programs and parties.
We were so grateful for these times together.
On Thanksgiving Day we woke up to a blanket of snow outside.
Gramps and Elliot collected some greenery for the Thanksgiving table.
The meal was truly a joint effort. Everyone pitched in to make it happen. (well, except for Elliot, who played dead in the snow for about 20 minutes waiting for us to notice him. no such luck. we were all too busy in the kitchen!)
Mmmmm. It was a feast for the ages!
Time for a little snooze by the fire.
And then we swiftly moved on to Christmas!
Woohoo! Hooray for Christmas at Thanksgiving!
We had such a wonderfully relaxing, enjoyable week with them. A perfect holiday!
