As a gorgeous spring day unfolded before us, Rob and I decided to hop over to the botanical garden for a lunch date.
Few things make my heart sing like acres and acres of space dedicated to the beauty of nature. And especially in April, when everything is bursting into new life.
I sometimes forget that Rob spent his childhood in Cambridge and has years of memories everywhere we go. These gardens are across the street from where he went to school. It used to be free to get in and these gates were always left open, so he and his friends would wander around during their breaks.
You now have to pay to get in, and these gates are always locked. Probably to prevent vagrant schoolboys from wandering around.
Beautiful.
