Berry pickin’

It’s berry picking time!!

We love our tradition of hitting the orchard with our friends.

It was scorching hot. We were melting!

The strawberries were on the tail end and the blueberries and raspberries were just starting to ripen,
so we had to work hard to find the good ones.

Sophie loved to pick the fruit – actually getting any into her mouth is still a feat yet to be achieved. Apples and bananas are the only fruit she eats, even with this manna from heaven right in front of her, crazy girl. The rest of us were stuffing our faces.

Now to figure out how to use everything up! Will it be pancakes, cobbler, smoothies, muffins?
