That's Leonardo, Matilda, Sean, and Sophie. 
They all had a good chat together while the ladies lunched, and then we headed out to see the chickens.
Joni, our host, lives in the stunning Hudson Valley in New York. They have chickens so they can eat free-range organic chicken and eggs, and they're thinking of getting a cow so they can have their own raw milk.
They also harvest their own maple syrup from the many trees on their property. They're very earthy. Fitting, as it's Earth Day, right? She used to be a dancer on Broadway, and now has retired to her country mansion to raise her organic-cotton-clad babies. She has a full-time nanny. *sigh*Elliot had tons of fun playing with her older son. He loved having all that space to run around.
We all had a great day with our friends. Hope we can do it again soon!

we are so glad you have lovely friends with children , it makes all the difference if they are near & you have regular get togethers to look forward to.
