Sophie was still recovering today, so we had a quiet, relaxing day at home. We’ve started doing puzzles recently. Yes, our lives just keep getting more and more exciting. This one was our biggest challenge yet – 550 pieces!
It’s a Super Mario Brothers picture. Don’t ask me why. I think Rob got it on sale somewhere. Random.
While we were idly working, two squirrels were chasing each other outside. They’ve been out there for weeks, obviously loving scampering around on the snow.
At one point we looked down and saw we had a little friend watching us.
We tossed him some walnuts. Happy squirrel.
Can you believe that after countless hours slaving away on this puzzle, we ended up with one piece missing? Oh, the cruelty! It would have been such a work of art otherwise.

Loved seeing the new color in that family room! I'm impressed with the puzzle making also. Hope Sophie is feeling better today. Enjoy your pet squirrel.
